Steelers playoff rally to be held Friday (#HereWeGo Day) in Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH — The city of Pittsburgh will gear up for Sunday’s Steelers-Chiefs game with a playoff rally Friday afternoon at the Allegheny County Courthouse.

The rally will be held at noon in the courtyard of the courthouse on Grant Street. DJ Steve Maffei Jr., who is often featured at Steelers games, will get fans pumped up starting at 11:30 a.m.

Steelers alumni Dwayne Woodruff and Chris Hoke will attend the rally, accompanied by the Pittsburgh Steeline drumline and mascot Steely McBeam.

Allegheny County Executive Rich Fitzgerald and Pittsburgh Mayor William Peduto have declared Friday “#HereWeGo Day.”

The rally will also include giveaways, and fans are asked to bring a non-perishable food item for donation to the food bank.
