Syrian refugee saves wedding day with master sewing skills

TORONTO, CANADA — A Toronto bride's wedding day was saved, thanks to Syrian refugees living next door.

The wedding photographer captured these pictures of Ibrahim Dudu sewing Jo Du back into her wedding dress.  The zipper broke as she was stepping into it.  Bridesmaids tried to fix it and went next door looking for tools that might help.

The neighbor is hosting a refugee family from Syria and the father happens to be a master tailor, whose business was destroyed by bombs.  Using Google Translate to bridge the language barrier, he went right to work and seamlessly rescued the young couple's day.  They say they are especially grateful as they are immigrants themselves, from China.
