One person was shot and wounded Thursday evening in Penn Hills.
The shooting was reported around 7 p.m. on Chaske Street. Police searched the area and found the victim, a 28-year-old man, who was taken to a hospital. Police said he is expected to be OK.

Police received several calls about shots being fired, and between 12-15 shell casings were found.
Investigators said the victim is not cooperating.
Police had a very vague description of the shooter and have been searching the area, but they had not found any suspects as of late Thursday.
