12-year-old girl safe after being reported missing

PITTSBURGH — UPDATE (8:37 a.m.): Talasia Eggleton has been located. Police said she returned home unharmed.

ORIGINAL STORY: Pittsburgh police are asking for the public's assistance locating a missing 12-year-old girl.

Talasia Eggleton was last seen about 7 p.m. Monday in the area of Kingsboro Street in Pittsburgh’s Allentown neighborhood.

Eggleton is 5 feet 6 inches tall, weighs 110 pounds and has black and green hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information on Eggleton’s whereabouts is asked to call the Missing Person Unit at 412-323-7141 or Pittsburgh Police Headquarters at 412-323-7800.
