Two Ringgold High School football players walked into court Thursday accused of assaulting a third football player outside their stadium.
They walked out with a plea deal.
Had they gone to trial and been convicted, Dezmier Majors and Tyrese Youngblood would have faced months to years of jail time for assaulting another player.

Channel 11 was there when Majors and Youngblood, both 18 and from Donora, waived their rights to a trial and resolved their charges with the Washington County District Attorney’s office.
They’re accused of punching and kicking another football player after practice in September. Surveillance video caught part of the assault at the school’s stadium in Carroll Township.
It showed Youngblood chasing the victim from the locker room, punching and kneeing him in the stomach before running back into the locker room.
According to authorities, Majors continued the assault, leaping and kicking the victim in the neck outside Joe Montana Stadium.
Majors pleaded guilty to simple assault and received six months’ probation, and Youngblood pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of harassment and was ordered to pay court costs.
Majors is no longer on the football team, but Channel 11 was told Youngblood is back in uniform.
