3 arrested after robbery at gas pump in Pittsburgh neighborhood

PITTSBURGH — 1:42 p.m. UPDATE: Authorities identified the three people in custody as Bradleigh Aldrich, 21, of Wilkinsburg; James Womack, 25, of Monessen; and Arron Jackson, 21, of Munhall.

They are charged with robbery and criminal conspiracy, said public safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler. In addition, Jackson had an active warrant for a state parole violation.

Police say Womack and Jackson approached the victim while he was in his vehicle, ordering him to get out or get shot. They went through his pockets and took cash, a car key and an iPhone.

They then got into the silver Dodge driven by Aldrich, police said. West Homestead police stopped the car on Ravine Street in Munhall.

The victim's possessions were recovered.

Three people were arrested early Tuesday morning after they robbed a 19-year-old man at a gas station in Pittsburgh’s Greenfield neighborhood, police said.

The robbery happened at a gas pump at the Speedway on Browns Hill Road, according to authorities. No one was hurt.

Police put out a description of the vehicle, a Dodge Caliber, a police spokesperson said.

From Greenfield, investigators were led to Munhall as several police vehicles filled Ravine Street. Three people were taken into custody.
