Officials said they performed contact tracing on all five residents and have notified the affected residents, their families and other employees.

That facility is located in Baden, Pa., which is adjacent to the Ohio River and borders Harmony Township.

In the release, officials said they suspended in-person visitations at Concordia starting in mid-March “out of an abundance of caution.”

This is just the latest care facility in Beaver County to have residents test positive for the coronavirus.

Brighton Rehab has seen more deaths from COVID-19 than any other nursing home in the state. It’s also been the focus of criticism from multiple families and fined more than $62,000 by the federal government for its response to the pandemic.

Brighton is even facing a wrongful death lawsuit from the family of an employee who died after contracting COVID-19.
