Amazon opens new pick-up location in Oakland

PITTSBURGH — No decision yet on whether Amazon will build its second headquarters here in Pittsburgh, but the online company is making it easier for some people to get their orders.

Amazon@Pitt opened Tuesday on Pitt’s campus in Oakland.

It’s a pickup location where Amazon Prime members can get millions of items just one day after ordering them. Order by 10 p.m. and pick it up the next day.

This is Amazon’s 32nd pick-up location and second in Pennsylvania.
