PHILADELPHIA — An Amber Alert, that was issued for a 2-year-old boy taken from Philadelphia, was canceled after police say the child has been located safely.

Pennsylvania State police issued the alert for Byron McDonald, 2, who was last seen April 9 at 1 p.m. on Bancroft Street in Philadelphia.

Police believe he was abducted by Byron McDonald, 28.

No further information on the incident was available.
