Another cat was shot and killed in Hostetter, humane officers said.
The cat was found in a woman’s front yard Saturday. The woman said she saw a bullet hole in the cat with a lot of blood.
A rain storm washed everything away before humane officers could get to the cat, according to Mindy James, Westmoreland & Indiana Counties Humane Officer.

The cat’s leg was found to be completely detached after vets looked at the animal’s X-rays, James said.
James said this incident happened only a mile away from where another cat was shot last week.
That cat, Gidget, was not killed and was taken to Paws Across in Pittsburgh for treatment.
James said Gidget is doing “okay.”
