At least 1 shot in West Mifflin

At least one person was shot in West Mifflin on Friday night.

The victim was shot in the hip at the intersection of Mellon Street and Pennsylvania Avenue, according to an Allegheny County spokesperson.

The victim was alert when transported to UPMC Mercy.

A second person was also medically transported, but it was not immediately clear why or where.
