A baby and a 4-year-old were airlifted by medical helicopter after a runaway car crash in Washington County on Tuesday.
Charleroi police said the girls’ parents were pushing the car because it had broken down in Speers Township. Police said the adults put the car in neutral and tried to push it from the road, but the car started to roll away.

Janet Pearson, a neighbor, said, "The mom said they got out of the car after it stalled to push it off the road, but no one was steering it and it took off. Luckily, God was watching."
Neighbors came running outside to help.
"All I could hear was the kids screaming, so I called 911," Pearson said. "(The parents) were chasing the car. She kept saying she was sorry, she was sorry."
The girls' cries left neighbors shaken up, but the kids are expected to be OK and neighbors said they are thankful it wasn't worse.
"This is usually a busy road (and there was) no one coming up or down. There was a man walking and he ran across the street. (Everyone) is very lucky no one was killed," Pearson said.
Both girls were airlifted to Children's Hospital as a precaution. The extent of the children's injuries was not immediately released, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.
