The ‘bathtub’ section of Interstate 376 westbound is expected to close due to flooding overnight.
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation said in a release Saturday that the section of the Parkway East is currently open, but “due to projected river levels,” the ‘bathtub’ will be closed at some point.

PennDOT did not say when the section, which lies between the Grant Street interchange and the Fort Pitt Bridge, is expected to close.
The strongest storms will move through the area between 11 p.m. and 4 a.m. Sunday. PennDOT said it will notify drivers when “closing procedures” begin.
