Snow tapered off during Thursday’s morning commute, but travel could still be an issue as many roads remain slushy or snow-covered.

Much of the area saw a fresh blanket of two to four inches of snow since Wednesday afternoon. Some areas near and south of Interstate 70 saw rain mix in for a period of time.

Temperatures will remain in the 20s during the day, with wind chills in the teens.
Another lighter shot of snow will move into the area Friday afternoon and Friday evening, with most areas seeing an inch or less.
