The residents of Fairchance, Fayette County, need to start boiling their water again.
Three days after a previous boil-water advisory that lasted nearly a week was lifted, the borough announced Sunday night that another was put in place.
The borough said the new advisory was due to a water main break, but did not specify where it occurred or if it was related to the unspecified issue on Jan. 12 that also led to a loss of water pressure in the community.
Water buffaloes have been placed at the borough building, the fire department and Liberty Hall.
