AMBRIDGE, Pa. — Two men have been arrested in a series of church break-ins in Beaver County.
Last week, Channel 11 reported police in Ambridge were looking for the people responsible for break-ins at two churches.
Ambridge police told Channel 11 a boot print lifted off a church door is a perfect match to a boot belonging to suspect David Abate.
Officers say he was wearing the boots when they arrested him Friday night and he gave a full confession to breaking into Saint Peter and Paul's Ukrainian Church and the First United Methodist Church four times in one week.

"He said he was a big drug addict and he did it for the quick cash," Sgt. Zadock Dismuke with Ambridge police.
Doug Biers Jr. is also charged.
Police told Channel 11 he was the lookout so Abate could break-in through church windows and steal money.
"They didn't care, it was quick and easy, no one was there at night," Dismuke said.
One of the churches changed its locks after the break-ins.
