STOWE TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A cab driver was robbed at gunpoint and a man was carjacked early Tuesday morning in Stowe Township, police said.

The incidents happened a few hours apart, but in nearly the same place. Police are working to determine if they are connected.

Police said the carjacking was reported shortly before 6 a.m. on Ridge Avenue. The victim told investigators that the carjacker pointed a gun at him and told him to empty his pockets before taking off in the car.
