Workers at a Beaver County business are cleaning up after a car crashed into the building on Monday.

The crash happened at Muddy Rose Pottery, in the Crestmont Shopping Center in Hopewell. The owner was just feet away when the car went through the plate-glass window at the store.

"I was in here having a meeting and I heard a big explosion," Janelle Farrand said.
Farrand said she didn't care about the damage to her store and instead she went directly to help the driver, a woman in her 60s.
"I sat with her. I held her hand, and I prayed with her and told her everything would be OK," Farrand said.
Muddy Rose Pottery is a clay studio for people living with intellectual and developmental disabilities. No programs were in progress when the crash happened, and there were no reported injuries.
"We're just so lucky that no one was hurt. This could have been much worse," Farrand said.
