BUTLER, Pa. — A man is in custody after stealing one car and attempting two other carjackings in Butler County on Friday.
Police identified the suspect as Brian Vlassich.
Investigators said Vlassich was in a stolen black 2015 Ford Explorer that was later found in a retention pond. The car was stolen from the parking lot of a doctor's office.
Both alleged carjacking incidents happened within 15 minutes.

In the first, Vlassich attempted to carjack a mother waiting for her kid to get off the school bus, but when he failed, he tried to board the school bus full of kids.
The mom grabbed Vlassich and threw him off of the bus.
The second victim was a man three blocks away.
Police said Vlassich confessed to everything.
