The Community College of Allegheny County recently issued a warning about a man exposing himself to women on or near the North Side campus.
In a message posted on its website, the school said it has confirmed reports with Pittsburgh police about a man in a black SUV stopping to ask women for directions and then exposing himself.

One incident occurred in front of the Western Pennsylvania Humane Society on Western Avenue, and another occurred by the Subway at Ridge and Allegheny avenues.
Ashley Burk works in the North Side and works for a network of businesses alerting people to the threat.
"Got a work email; I was kind of shocked it happened," she said. "You hear about it but to know it's kind of going on in your area, it's a little surprising."
The school urged people to be careful. Those who are walking alone can call school security for an escort.
"I think I'll keep being vigilant as far as being cautious, people that approach, ask for directions just keep a look out so I can stay safe and everyone else can stay safe," Burk said.
