Crews called to deadly pedestrian accident on Route 380

MURRYSVILLE, Pa. — The Westmoreland County Coroner said one man is dead after he was hit by multiple vehicles on Route 380 Saturday night.

Emergency crews were called to the scene shortly after 9 p.m. after Steven Evankovich, 28, was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The accident occurred in Murrysville, and the westbound lanes of Route 380 were closed while the accident was being investigated.

There's no word yet on what led to Evankovich getting hit.
