WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — The embattled West Mifflin superintendent faced a packed school board meeting Monday night.

Dr. Daniel Castagna is fighting for his job after a series of decisions many saw as controversial.
Castagna’s attorney showed several social media posts that were allegedly assaulting his Italian heritage.

Also brought up were allegations that Castagna hired a man who had a felony murder background. He denied ever hiring the person.
Castagna is fighting to save his job right now. He is on unpaid administrative leave because of several ethical related allegations that surfaced during his time as superintendent.
A decision was not made Monday night. The last testimony session is next Monday.
