A family fled their Penn Hills home after a fire began in their kitchen on Sunday.
A woman who lives across Crescent Hills Road from the house told Channel 11 she called 911 and helped her neighbors get out safely.
No one was hurt.

Channel 11 was told the fire started in the kitchen area and worked its way up to the second
floor."Crews battled through the cold and were able to extinguish the fire in about 30 minutes,” said fire Chief Bill Jeffcoat from Penn Hills #7 Fire Department.
The Penn Hills fire marshal is investigating the cause.
