Father, son arrested in Westmoreland Co. drug bust, police say

Two men were arrested after a drug bust in Westmoreland County on Tuesday.

A trooper out of the Washington Barracks told Channel 11 it was a father and son team caught with a massive amount of drugs.

Search warrants were executed at the homes of both men simultaneously around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Forty-seven bricks of heroin, 40 grams of marijuana, 15 grams of powder cocaine, five grams of raw heroin, an unknown powder substance believed to be fentanyl and $3,500 were found, according to police.

The son, 32-year-old Quinton Martin, was arrested at his Grant Street home in North Belle Vernon in Westmoreland County.

He’s being held at the Westmoreland County Prison on $250,000 bail.

According to a criminal complaint, police detained Martin, a woman and three young children.

Martin's father, 53-year-old Herbert Green, was arrested at a home on Lookout Avenue in Charleroi.

He’s being held at the Washington County Jail on $25,000 bail.

Both men are awaiting preliminary hearings.
