GREENSBURG, Pa. — Firefighters were called Wednesday evening to battle flames at a duplex in Greensburg.
The fire was reported about 6 p.m. on West Pittsburgh Street. Heavy smoke was visible when Chopper 11 flew over the scene just before 6:30 p.m.

Officials said a man who uses a wheelchair was inside the building, which consists of four apartments, when the fire started. He made it out safely, but he was checked out at a hospital.
A firefighter was hit by a hose while working to put out the fire, officials said. He was treated at the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
