Heinz Field Kickoff and Rib Fest returns for Labor Day weekend

PITTSBURGH — The Heinz Field Kickoff and Rib Fest is back, running Thursday through Monday.

The festival includes games, rides, the Steelers Experience, live music -- and, of course, ribs. Admission is free for the five-day event and concerts, but there are charges for food, beverages and select activities.

TRENDING NOW:

Started in 1990 at Three Rivers Stadium, the festival has grown at its new home at Heinz Field. It now encompasses over half of Heinz Field, and the “midway” is set up along Art Rooney Avenue.

Concerts are staged on the south plaza outside of Gate A.

The FedEx Great Hall is open for fans to view the Steelers’ Super Bowl trophies, Hall of Fame Museum, Steelers memorabilia, the Terrible Towel Wall and more.
