Pittsburgh Perry Traditional Academy's football team headed to West Virginia for a football game where they were greeted with a sign that is now sparking outrage.
Perry High School made the trek to play Brooke High School in Wellsburg, West Virginia where they were greeted with a sign that said "Trump Perry."

The sign garnered so much negative attention that the superintendent of the Brooke County School District contacted Perry's principal directly to "ask forgiveness" :
"I apologize for the insensitive, intimidating, and offensive sign posted in our student section at Friday night's game. The sign's message does not reflect our true beliefs"
In the meantime, parents say we communities need to come together during such a divisive time.
"It's gonna be hard to forgive, but it's always good to forgive," Normal McDonald, of Perry Hilltop, said.
Doctor Hamlet, superintendent of Pittsburgh Public Schools, said he's focused on helping any local students impacted and are prepared to offer assistance.
