The months-long construction project on a popular Pittsburgh street came to a close Saturday morning.
The Department of Public Works announced Saturday that Ivory Avenue has officially reopened to traffic after several months of reconstruction.

The road had been closed, in three phases, since Aug. 28 between Perry Highway (Route 19) and Nelson Run Road to reconstruct less than half a mile of roadway, according to a news release.
The work was part of an $8.3 million project to address eight roads throughout Allegheny County, the release said.
