Kennywood opening to everyone starting Monday

WEST MIFFLIN, Pa. — Kennywood will be open to the general public starting Monday after the amusement park reopened to season pass holders Friday.

Tickets need to be purchased online and several changes will be in place because of COVID-19.

Kennywood officials said changes to adhere to the Allegheny County Health Department’s guidelines include the following:

  • Limiting Capacity
  • Pre-Entry Temperature Checks
  • Face Coverings and Personal Protective Equipment
  • Social Distancing
  • Adding Sanitizing Stations
  • Enhancing Cleaning Measures
  • Educating Guests & Team Members

Everyone is required to wear a mask, except for children 2 years old and younger. Guests can remove their masks at designated “cooling zones” and on water rides.

The following attractions will remain closed:

  • Skycoaster
  • Noah's Ark
  • Gran Prix
  • Thomas Town Big Adventures Play Zone
  • Steelers Experience Building
  • Bayern Kurve
  • End Zone Cafe
  • Pedro’s

Kennywood will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. on most nights.
