PITTSBURGH — The battle for one Pennsylvania Senate seat could involve a judge.
Two people have filed a lawsuit against Democratic candidate Lindsey Williams in the 38th District claiming she hasn’t resided in the district for four years prior to Election Day.
Her Republican opponent Jeremy Shaffer said his campaign didn’t file the lawsuit, but also questioned her residency.
The Williams campaign declined an interview request, referring legal questions to attorney Cliff Levine who is representing the Democratic Party of Pennsylvania.
Levine called it a frivolous lawsuit with no merit.
