Man, 84, struck, killed by vehicle in Swissvale

A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Swissvale Friday night.

According to a release from the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office, 84-year-old Andrew Elko was hit by a vehicle on South Braddock Avenue.

Elko died while inside a local hospital, the release said.

Swissvale Police is investigating the incident.
