The incident took place at a residence near the intersection of Fitzpatrick Street and Brown Avenue in Hempfield Township around 5:30 p.m.
Police said Jones’ sister called 911, and she got out safely shortly after police arrived. Jones would not comply with state troopers’ commands to exit the house.

Once troopers broke a window to gain entry, Jones gave himself up.
Jones already had a warrant for his arrest, and police found out he was growing marijuana inside the residence.
Jones is facing charges of felony terroristic threats, reckless endangerment and assault. Police said he will be charged separately for the growing operation.
