“We’ve been looking for him for an extensive amount of time,” said John Held, Westmoreland County Sheriff.

Police searched eight different addresses for Blair before locating him. In the motel room, police said they also discovered heroin and a man who overdosed in the bathroom.

Officers were able to save the man with naloxone.

Blair was taken into custody.

He’s accused of selling fentanyl-laced heroin to a 38-year-old woman who died in December.

According to a criminal complaint, a witness told investigators that Blair admitted to selling the woman drugs.

“I sold dope to the girl who died. I’m looking at murder charges or something,“ Blair said, according to the complaint.

“It is truly an epidemic in all of our communities,” Held said. “And, with the interdiction of fentanyl and carfentanil, it's making it that much more deadly."

Police said the heroin found in the hotel room were stamped with the name “head games,” the same named that was on the stamp bag that killed the woman in December.

“We will be comparing name brand stamps with what he was allegedly selling to see if he’s tied to anymore deaths,” Held said.

Blair is being held in the Westmoreland County Jail on homicide for drug delivery resulting in death and drug charges.
