Man in critical condition after being shot

Pittsburgh police are investigating after a man showed up at UPMC St. Margaret’s hospital with a gunshot wound to the head early Tuesday morning.

The man arrived at the hospital by private means around 6:20 a.m., police said.

The man, who police have not identified, was transported to UPMC Presbyterian hospital where he is listed in critical condition.

Police are trying to determine the location where the shooting occurred.
