Police are investigating a shooting in East Hills on Thursday evening.
A call came in for shots fired in the 2200 block of Parkhill Drive just before 5 p.m., said Public Safety spokeswoman Sonya Toler. The call was quickly updated to a man in his 20s being shot in the shoulder.

The victim, who was outside when he was shot, was conscious and alert when paramedics took him to the hospital in stable condition, Toler said.
Channel 11 saw several police vehicles at the scene, as well as a backpack on the ground and evidence markers.
Neighbors told Channel 11 they heard multiple gunshots in the area.
Police are investigating.
