Police took a man into custody following a hit-and-run in Armstrong County Friday night.
Police said that Travis Confer, 24, hit a vehicle in South Buffalo Township Friday and fled the scene while under the influence.

State Police received multiple calls Friday regarding the hit-and-run. Several calls provided state troopers with information on where Confer was heading.
After fleeing the hit-and-run, police stopped Confer while driving on Route 28. According to police reports, Confer then fled from two state troopers before he was taken into custody.
Confer faces a DUI charge, along with fleeing and eluding officers following the hit-and-run accident.
