PITTSBURGH — McArdle Roadway in Mount Washington reopened Sunday after a landslide Saturday forced a partial closure.
Engineers were called Saturday to assess the stability of the hillside, officials said.

Crews worked to clear debris from the hillside and dug a trench behind a retaining wall to collect additional mud and debris that might slide down, officials said Sunday.
The road, which closed between the Liberty Bridge and Grandview Avenue, is expected to reopen by noon.
