PITTSBURGH — A Homewood motorcycle club plans to make changes after two people connected to it were killed over the weekend.

The New Brotherhood Motorcycle Club said in a statement that it will permanently close its clubhouse and will no longer have late night and after-hours events.

Sean Lyons, 20, was shot and killed Sunday morning inside the club. One day earlier, 33-year-old Michael Leonard was killed in his car on Blackadore Street. Friends said the shooting was connected to a fight inside the club.

"It’s unfortunate that two lives are taken,” said Angela Jackson, who was a friend of Leonard.

“Somebody is doing something, so I’m happy about that.”

Police continue to investigate both cases.
