SALEM TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A man is dead after crashing his motorcycle into an SUV Sunday evening near Greensburg.

The impact sent the SUV into the median, according to Salem Township firefighters. The condition of the female driver is unknown.
Crews were called around 8:15 p.m. to William Penn Highway in Salem Township.

All of the westbound lanes are shut down. There is one lane open in the eastbound direction.

Traffic is being rerouted through Delmont. Fire officials said it will be at least a couple of hours before the road re-opens.
