A New Castle resident was arrested Friday for having suspected narcotics and paraphernalia is his home.
Police arrested Davon Montral Johnson after locating suspected drugs, a handgun and drug paraphernalia inside his residence on East Leasure Avenue.

Police obtained a warrant to search the residence after attempting to serve a felony arrest warrant to Johnson.
Officers located over 40 grams of suspected narcotics, including heroin and crack cocaine. They also located a .9 mm handgun in the residence.
Johnson is being charged with multiple counts of possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.
