North Huntingdon business ravaged by fire

A North Huntingdon business was ravaged by a fire Saturday morning.

Fire crews battled the fire at a strip of businesses along Route 30 starting around 10 a.m. The small plaza contains several businesses, including Continental Wax Works and the PPG Paints Store.

According to Channel 11 News exchange partner The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the building was evacuated shortly after fire crews were called to the scene.

The daughter of the owner of Continental Wax Works told Channel 11 that she believes the fire started in the roof of the building.

The Tribune-Review reported that regular traffic slowly resumed around 12:30 p.m. as crews finished cleaning the scene.
