The Norwin School District is considering making student athletes pay to play.
According to our news partners at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, the proposal would impact any students involved in sports or extracurricular activities such as marching band.
Several school districts charge a student activity fee each yet, ranging from $50 to $75.
The last time the district considered an activity fee, it instead decided to charge students for parking.
