McNevin also allegedly admitted to shooting and critically wounding Samantha Riley, according to a criminal complaint. Police said Riley was not the intended target and McNevin is believed to have used a stolen gun.
"She was just about to leave actually. She was coming our front door and (he) came through the house and he shot them,” Dunsmore said.
Dunsmore says she, the victims and McNevin knew each other. Police said McNevin came to the home to confront Campos-Recalde for allegedly stealing something from him last week.
"It's over petty high school stuff and it's not worth it,” she said. “I'm out of tears to cry."
