The Orionid meteor shower peaks this weekend between Oct.. 20 – 22.
The Orionids are named after the constellation in which they appear to originate, Orion.
You can look anywhere in the sky for the meteors, but allow yourself time for your eyes to adjust to darkness.

If you’re lucky, you’ll see some! The bright light from the moon may hamper the view, with about 15 to 20 meteors per hour expected.
The weather across western Pennsylvania may also hamper the view. as it will be cloudy during much of the weekend.
However, if you head out Sunday night into Monday morning, there’s a good chance the sky clears and you may have a better chance of viewing the Orionids.
