NEW STANTON, Pa. — A portion of the Pennsylvania Turnpike has reopened after being shut down Friday because of an accident in Westmoreland County.
Emergency dispatchers said the crash involves a tractor-trailer and another vehicle in between the New Stanton and Donegal exits.
All westbound lanes were shut down while crews treated the injured and cleared the vehicles.

All lanes are now reopened, but there is still some congestion in the area. Turnpike officials are urging drivers to stay alert and to expect heavy delays.
Investigators tell us there are several injuries. There is no word on the conditions of the victims.
State police are investigating the crash.
