Pitt Panthers look for a win in ACC Tournament, Stallings future up in the air

PITTSBURGH — It hasn’t been the best season for the Pitt Panther’s men’s basketball team.  In fact, it’s been one of the worst.

The Panthers head into the ACC Tournament in Brooklyn, New York looking for a win. But a win may be too little too late for head coach Kevin Stallings, who led his team to an 8-23 overall record and an 0-18 record in conference play this season.

TRENDING NOW:

In his two years with the Panthers, Stallings’ overall record of 24-40 is less than impressive, with a 5-33 record in the ACC Conference.

The team hasn’t won a game a game since Dec. 22 when it defeated the Towson Tigers 63-52.

The Panthers are hoping to add another mark in the win column when they take on Notre Dame 2 p.m. Tuesday at the ACC tournament.

Then all eyes will be on Stallings and whether or not he’ll be back for a third season.
