PHILADELPHIA — Some of the University of Pittsburgh rowing team’s vans were broken into Thursday in Philadelphia.
The team is in Philadelphia for the Dad Vail Regatta, the university said.
No one was injured.

"Although we are shaken up, thankfully no one was hurt. Thanks to everyone for all the support. We will do our best to put this event behind us, and stay focused on the job we have to do tomorrow: proving our resilience and showing the city of Philadelphia what Pitt Crew can do," the team posted on Facebook.
The team's stolen gear was replaced by Boathouse Sports.
