Roberson was fighting with a 16-year-old who lived there and according to police, mean messages on social media escalated to gunfire.

Brown, his wife, kids and one-year-old granddaughter ducked and covered.

Investigators said several rounds penetrated the living room wall.

Two other homes were also hit.

"It took this, shooting up my house, it's scary," Brown said. "It's sad, I don't know why these kids have to take up guns."

Police said they brought Roberson in for questioning and he admitted to firing the shots.

Roberson is being charged as an adult and faces several charges including attempted criminal homicide, aggravated assault and reckless endangerment.

Roberson was transported to the Lawrence County Jail.
