WILKINSBURG — Allegheny County police are asking for the public to help solve a homicide in Wilkinsburg.
Investigators said the body of Michael Jefferson was found outside a home in the 1700 block of Montier Street on July 22. The Allegheny County Medical Examiner said Jefferson died of a gunshot wound to his shoulder.
According to officers, the shrubs created a visual barricade which blocked the body from the street and sidewalk. The house was unoccupied and the victim was discovered when the owner showed up to work on the home.
