Allegheny County Police now believe the recent robberies of local Eat’n Park restaurants all are tied to a single suspect.
Police said a gunman assaulted employees at the Eat‘n Park’s Robinson location and robbed the restaurant on July 14.
There have been reports of robberies at Eat’n Parks in Monroeville, Squirrel Hill and the Waterworks Mall – in addition to the latest incident in Robinson – since January.
And after Allegheny County Police met with police from communities which have had robberies at Eat’n Park restaurants, they believe one suspect is behind all of them.

Until the most recent incident in Robinson, police said the suspect only pointed the gun. When the suspect robbed the Robinson restaurant, police said he pistol whipped a manager and another worker.
Police said all of the incidents happened between midnight and 6 a.m., the gunman wore a mask and was in and out quickly.
Police said while the mask prohibits them from matching the suspect’s face, his gun is on full display every time. They are putting together surveillance pictures to distribute to help locate the suspect.
